Join the Society
Any currently enrolled FSU student can join, from any major, and it's free. We're applying for registration with FSU right now, so sign-up isn't open yet.
How to join
Sign up on FSU HQ
Once FSU approves our registration, sign-up opens on the Society's page on FSU HQ, FSU's own system for student organizations. You give your name and FSU email there. There's no pledge, no initiation and no new member period.
Come to a meeting
We'll meet weekly in the fall and spring. Meeting times are posted once the semester schedule is set. Bring a laptop.
Start the starter track
Session one is setup and first prompts, so you can start with nothing installed.
Until sign-up opens
This site doesn't collect anything. Sign-up will happen on FSU HQ, so your name and email go to FSU's system, not to us through this page.
There are no dues. Joining is free.
See what we're planningQuestions people ask
Do I need to know how to code?
No. You build with Claude Code: you describe what you want, check what it makes, and keep steering until it works. The starter track begins with installing it.
What does it cost?
Joining is free; the Society charges no dues. Claude Code itself runs on an account with Anthropic, and the first session of the starter track covers getting set up.
Is the Society registered with FSU?
Not yet. We're applying for registration as a student organization. Sign-up, meetings and events start once it's approved.
Is this an official Anthropic club?
No. Claude Code Society is an independent student organization. It is not affiliated with, sponsored or endorsed by Anthropic.
Is it run by FSU?
No. It's run by students, and it isn't an FSU department. FSU doesn't direct or control it. The full statement is at the bottom of every page.
Can faculty or staff join?
They can take part in activities as non-voting participants. They can't hold office.
Can students from other schools come to events?
Not for now. Membership and events are for currently enrolled FSU students, and FSU faculty and staff can take part in activities.
